To further grow and develop our high-performance JAB ANSTOETZ New York Flagship Showroom and our Tri-State outside sales,  for our brands in the JAB Anstoetz Group and our vendor lines, we are looking for:

Sales and Showroom Director in Residential Sales for the New York Tri State Area

The key challenges of this very sales oriented position will be to implement the company’s strategy in the growing New York Tri-State market. To this end, you will have the responsibilities in residential sales for the whole Tri-State Area and our newly renovated New York Flagship Showroom. Act as a leader, guide and coach your team. You will be also involved in business development and will work with the leading interior designers and architects from the Tri-State Area.

This position will work from the JAB ANSTOETZ NEW YORK FLAGSHIP SHOWROOM located in the D&D Building in New York City. The Sales and Showroom Director will report directly to the VP of Sales for North America.


  • Responsible for the entire residential sales development in the New York Tri-State Area
  • Manage, mentor, train and inspire inside showroom sales associates, showroom librarian and outside sales representatives for optimum sales performance and customer service.
  • Develop and implement our sales strategies and sales goals for the Tri-State Area
  • Monitor sales goals in line with budget expectations for the Tri-State Area
  • Ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Lead and conduct regular sales meetings with the showroom and outside sales team.
  • Establish and maintain existing, inactive and new customer relationships in close cooperation with our inside and outside sales team.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows in the Tri-State Area
  • Visits to our key accounts/customers in the Tri-State Area
  • Observe and report changing product trends and market demands
  • Manage all the showroom selling and servicing details
  • Optimize Showroom design and product vignettes
  • Plan and execute showroom events
  • Become proficient in and train staff on the company’s order entry and operating system SAP
  • Send monthly reporting to the VP of Sales for North America
  • Travel as required (locally, nationally and internationally)
  • Cooperate with trade journals


  • Multi-year experience in the retail or wholesale industry as a sales director, sales executive or sales or showroom manager, preferably in the Home Furnishings Industry
  • Hands on experience in sales and selling comparable high end products
  • Highly ambitious, self-driven and enjoying independent work
  • Ability to manage, work and developing a team
  • Possess positive charisma and enthusiasm
  • Service and sales goal orientation
  • Strong communication and written skills, professional competence, persuasiveness and a confident demeanor
  • Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge is preferable
