Sales Associate

The Sales Associate role will be responsible for supporting operational and sales management, office initiatives, and assisting the Showroom Manager in growing NY territory sales. The Sales Associate will serve as the point of contact for new and existing Maya Romanoff clients and will help further drive sales within the individuals’ assigned territories. The Sales Associate reports to the Showroom Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

These responsibilities include everything encompassing the NY territories including inside sales, outside sales support, local marketing, and promotion opportunities, and building a repeat client base of sales. They will be knowledgeable and aware of the market trend and competitors, analyzing and recommending areas for business growth and improved sales.

Responsibilities

  • Work with NY Team to assist clients and grow sales both inside showroom and on outside sales calls
  • Assist Showroom Manager with showroom tasks and maintenance
  • Communicate with internal and external clients regarding (but not limited to) order status, pricing, sample requests, delivery confirmations, stock inquiries, and installations.
  • Continual CRM input and data management
  • Process orders, reserves and quotes to assigned territory.
  • Maintain high service standards, create a positive client experience, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Process tasks and resolve issues in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner.
  • Maintain territory’s open opportunities using CRM software, running regular reports and log all calls and communications per department policy.
  • Increase sales volume, maximize profits, and improve customer service levels.
  • An integral part of position is networking. Attend social and educational events at the D&D and outside to solidify place in design community.
  • Build relationships through local marketing efforts and build a repeat customer base.
  • Perform regular territory reports and analysis to sales team
  • Participate in weekly Check-in meeting
  • Handle Incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Work directly with clientele and follow up to ensure all needs are met and takes priority.
  • Work directly with Marketing Coordinator and National Sales Director to help influence Maya Romanoff’s sales.
  • Maintain and update Maya Romanoff’s sales partner and representative contact list.
  • Maintain high service standards, create a positive client experience, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Additional special projects and duties as assigned by manager.
  • Adhering to all company procedures and policies.
  • Representing the company’s best interests in their individual actions.
  • Any special projects and additional duties as assigned by manager or Maya Romanoff leadership.

  • CRM background is a plus
  • Experience within the Industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
