Prudence Home + Design offers a large range of services from full room makeovers to full scale renovations. We deliver custom furniture design, space planning, window treatment selection, color consultation, art selection, accessorizing, home organization and staging as needed. Our signature style is clean, fresh and comfortable spaces with a blend of modern and classic styles. Glamorous or coastal chic twists are often seen in the homes depending on the client.
Elizabeth Heiskell was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, an agricultural area bordered by the Mississippi River where food and fun go hand-in-hand. Elizabeth started her culinary journey with courses at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. From there, she spent eight years as the Lead Culinary Instructor for the Viking Cooking School in Greenwood, MS.
In 2011 Elizabeth moved from the flatland to the hills of Oxford, Mississippi. There, she and her husband, Luke, run Woodson Ridge Farm and Elizabeth Heiskell Catering with a little help from their three girls.
Currently, Elizabeth is a TODAY SHOW Food Contributor and Southern Living contributing editor. She is also the author of three best-selling cook books “What Can I Bring” and “The Southern Living Party Cook Book” and “Come On Over,” which was released in May 2021.
