For over fifteen years, Joseph Carini Carpets have been designed in New York, woven in Nepal, and inspired by the world in between. Founded in 1997 by Joe Carini and Aurelie Lang, the emphasis of the company is focused on exploring the use of unusual natural dyes., natural fibers, and authentic traditional weaving techniques. Joseph Carini began working with Tibetan and Nepalese carpets in 1991 and so has had a long history with the design revolution which took place in this field over the last two decades. Previous to that he was an expert in the antique carpet world, dealing mostly in collectible tribal rugs. His infatuation with rare and unusual rugs lead him to an in-depth study of the use of colors, specialized natural dyes, design etymologies and weaving techniques. The lost knowledge he was able to accumulate and apply to his work makes Joseph Carini Carpets one of the last of the modern rug makers in the world to use authentic Tibetan knotting techniques as well as creating dyes from scratch. The colors we use are connected with healing plants and rooted in Ayurvedic science. How color effects our emotional and physical life are questions which have informed our work from the beginning. By preserving traditional processes and fusing them with visionary design, Joe hopes to bring the magic from the past into the contemporary world in which we live

30 years is not a long time in most businesses. In ours, though, it’s practically forever. That’s because, simply put, there was no woven outdoor furniture industry before DEDON came along.
The first to weave synthetic fiber into luxury outdoor designs, the first to place an absolute premium on quality, the first to become a truly global brand setting the standard for woven outdoor furniture since its founding in 1990.
Dare to be bold, innovate, and act as explorers in the field of furnishing fabrics and wallcoverings, known to be more traditional until now, this is the Élitis philosophy. Design very contemporary products and always have an edge on the latest techniques, this could be the Élitis motto. The in-house design department, a hive of activity like that of an experimental laboratory, traces the lines of research, diversity and innovative mixtures. The proposals, always surprising, create an event at every international exhibition.

Established in 1586 in the French forest of Moselle, Saint-Louis escapes the ephemeral with over 430 years of mouth-blown and hand-made creations ranging from tableware to decoration to lighting and beyond. Unrivalled, dense, clear, sonorous and luminous, born of a ball of fire and the breath of man, Saint-Louis crystal vibrates with all the talent inherited from History and extraordinary creative fantasy inspired by current trends.
Since then, Saint-Louis signs every day crystal creations – tableware, vases, chandeliers and lighting items – crafted by master glassblowers and cutters considered to be among the very best in France (“Meilleurs Ouvriers de France”). All possess irreplaceable knowledge and ancestral skills that have been enriched from generation to generation: crystal is mouth-blown, hand-cut, hand-engraved and hand-decorated using 24-carat gold or platinum.
Today, Saint-Louis continues to call on the imagination and skills of designers who open the way to new uses for crystal – and so our tableware, decorative object and lighting collections are enriched by the creations of Eric Gizard, Hervé van der Straeten, Ionna Vautrin, José Lévy, Kiki van Eijk, Noé Duchaufour Lawrance, Paola Navone, making from Saint-Louis a truly global Art de Vivre brand.
Sallie Hall and her daughter Andrea Elish’s appreciation for craftsmanship comes from their time living abroad. Sallie was decorating her house in Mexico City when she discovered the hand-loomed woolen fabrics designed by a community of local weavers. Sallie’s desire to interpret those local textile traditions for the American market led to the creation of Savel when she moved back to the United States in 1984.
Sallie and Andrea now collaborate with mills globally to shape the Savel collections’ subtle designs. After graduating from Vassar and HEC, the French business school, Andrea opened Savel’s New York office in 1994.
Savel brings innovative fabric designs with luxurious textures and a broad breadth of color to the interior designer. The collections are available through trade only showrooms in all major cities across the United States and in London. Savel’s customer service is personal, responsive, and has led to long lasting client relationships.
