Introducing Insieme from Innovations new Spring collection, Layered Forms.

The Spring collection draws inspiration from the art of sculpture, exploring the beauty of raw material and using one’s hands to inject life into surfaces. The rich, 3-dimensional texture of Insieme is assembled by hand from dyed cotton yarn in an abstract pattern layered over a mica backing, creating stunning, sculptural layers of material. The cotton yarn is stretched over a wooden frame in a geometric pattern and immersed and sun-dried before being glued to the textured backing, in a technique that borrows from traditional papier-mâché. This unique blend of techniques explores new possibilities in craft and adds an elegant textural look to any interior.
