Designed by Deborah Berke Partners, Midday is the second series in the Light & Shadow Collection, which was inspired by the values that inform the firm’s architecture and interiors: a commitment to creating place-specific designs that are sensitive to climate and culture. Deborah Berke Partners uses natural light as a building material and are attentive to how light changes over the course of the day and with the turning of the seasons. The carpets in the Midday Collection were inspired by the precise differentiation of line and texture that comes into focus under midday sun.
