Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize trim/fabric/drapery hardware sample library
  • Pull/mail memo requests for NYC showroom clients and lists from road visits
  • Pull/mail overflow memo requests for US agent network
  • Place orders weekly for memo replenishments
  • Monitor/evaluate incoming samples and organizational needs of the sample library
  • Plan/maintain organizational projects for the sample library including the upcoming implementation of our new Barcode Inventory Management system launching in 2026
  • Maintain inventory and order shipping supplies
  • Order and maintain all office and kitchen supplies
  • Special projects; assembly of presentation boxes, ring sets, hardware samples
  • Process client orders for trim books/fabric books/hardware displays
  • Assist NYC Showroom Sales team with order entry, order tracking, payment processing as needed
  • Assist NYC Showroom Manager with maintaining showroom product displays and vignettes

Requirements / Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • This is a physical position in which you will be mostly on your feet and climbing a 3-step ladder
  • Ability to work as part of a small team
  • Strong work ethic, ambition, and drive
  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)
  • Knowledge of trimming, drapery hardware, and fabrics a plus
  • Follow-up, organization, planning, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to an international environment

Location and hours:

  • This is a part-time position requiring 20 to 29 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 9am and 5pm. The position is based in our D&D Building office. Remote work is not available.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The position is compensated on an hourly basis.
