Showroom Manager – NY Showroom

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Showroom Manager plays a vital role in the success of our retail operations by overseeing the showroom’s daily activities, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience. You will strategically manage and drive showroom sales, uphold operational efficiency, and create a welcoming environment that aligns with the brand image. You will also be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies, fostering a positive team culture, and maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide strong leadership to the showroom team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of showroom staff to ensure a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
• Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and take proactive measures to optimize sales outcomes.
• Ensure a consistently high level of customer service by setting and maintaining customer-centric standards.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Oversee showroom inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and an appealing product presentation.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to create visually appealing displays that align with the brand image.
• Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Streamline showroom procedures to maximize productivity and meet organizational goals.
• Conduct regular training sessions for showroom staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
• Identify areas for skill development and implement training programs to enhance the team’s capabilities.
• Develop and manage the showroom budget, ensuring effective control of expenses and maximizing profitability.
• Provide regular financial reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

REQUIREMENTS, REASONING ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Strong understanding of retail sales and customer service.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to contribute ideas for enhancing showroom efficiency.
• Ability to adjust strategies as per the evolving needs of the showroom.
• Ability to think critically and make decisions in line with company policies.
• Job requires the use of a computer, phone, calculator, and other technological equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the showroom for extended periods.
